The mission of the Bonneville Power Administration’s Energy Efficiency Emerging Technologies (E3T) program is to identify and assess innovative and highly-valued energy-efficient end-use technologies that have potential to save electric energy in the Pacific Northwest but are currently lacking a foothold in that region.
Begun in 2009, E3T facilitates collaboration with technology experts and regional stakeholders to “fill the pipeline” to utility conservation programs with new energy efficiency solutions that promise significant region-wide energy savings, and thereby help accelerate the adoption of these emerging technologies.
The collaboration
efforts included technologies in the HVAC and
Lighting
areas. BPA's E3T program will be focusing on other technology
areas in the near future, so stay tuned on E3T
Connect.
