Since 2009, leaders in the field have helped identify, screen, and assess new Energy Efficiency Emerging Technologies (E3T) in four focus areas, Lighting (2009), HVAC (2009 & 2010), Energy Mangagement (2011), and LED Lighting (2012), as part of the E3T's Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs). Eight additional focus areas have been proposed including Data Centers, Residential Buildings, and Consumer Products, among others.

You can help by suggesting new Emerging Technologies (ETs) in these and other focus areas.

Please enter basic information about a new energy efficiency technology, solution, or product by completing the form below. Groups may have been formed already (e.g. Lighting, HVAC) where you can discuss new ETs, but don't hesitate to do so here or to form a new group around your interests. E3T Connect is also your creation.

Criteria for Submission

Emerging Technology Scope for BPA includes:

• New and/or not assessed or included in BPA Programs (Review our current list)
• Electric end-uses only
• Equipment and Solutions (e.g. software tools, energy management approaches-including strategies)
• Retrofit and new construction
• Focus is on energy efficiency, but can include on-site renewables or demand-side response/management
• All sectors (but emphasis on widely applicable technologies)
